Check your IP fast and simple at IPSTR.COM (pron: ipsturr)
It’s been done to death- but I just could not let it fly- I knew that I could make something this simple and mundane as checking your IP online a little bit better. So here it is : IPSTR.COM. It’s nothing much, hell- it’s really nothing. But if you want a quick and friendly way to check your IP address online- this is it. I’m sure to enhance the feature set in the future. Somehow…Have fun…and offcourse it really, really needed a Google friggin’ Map.
You can find me on Pownce!
I’m on Pownce (offcourse)- Kevin Roses second (or third) gift (wellll….) to the world. Find me on Pownce at pownce.com/codemonk.
I have some spare invitations laying around- if you want to get invited leave a comment in the commentbox.
Open for the public: simly.net. Easy Amazon Similarity Search.
Simly.net is online. yeee.
To aid my search for books about development ,time management and entrepreneurship I made myself a quicker way to browse through the books at Amazon. I know a couple of really good books about a certain topic, but what I then wanted was to quickly see what is similar to that book or topic. And I found it very useful if you like a certain artist, to check out if there are any similar artists.
You can find it at simly.net. And to be honest, everytime you order something through simly.net at Amazon you will make someone very ,very happy. ![]()
2 iGoogle gadgets released!
I released two iGoogle gadgets last week.
- IPCheck. Which checks the current IP address from which you are connected to the net. (add to iGoogle)
- Feelings. Random feelings from the web. (add to iGoogle)
Both can be included into iGoogle. I plan to make them available as plain javascript widgets as well in the near future. Feelings has a bit of a story attached. You can read all about it here.
